- For the 8 people who were baptized at Neel Road last Sunday. Lord, help our church to be a real family to them and to walk with them on their journey with you!
- For the pig pickin’ at our house on Saturday. I’ve never done this before!
- For the new message series starting in October – I Want A Meaningful Marriage – and for married couples, youth, and whoever needs to hear it.
- For my children who require CONSTANT attention and guidance…and deserve it.
- For the people of Neel Road Baptist Church. For the first time ever in the life of our church we have an “older generation” of people who have faithfully served for decades. We are approaching a time to pass the torch to the next generation.
- For my doctoral studies. I’ve never written and re-written and re-written in all my life!
- For other churches in Rowan County.
- For God to show us his vision and dream for Neel Road.
- For direction and discernment for Graham our Student Pastor and his ministry at Neel Road.
- For my wife, Whitney, who is so faithful to God and to her family. I am so thankful…and so lucky!
